On Saturday 26th May The Tamar and Tavy Gig Club are holding the second Great Tamar Gig Race for the Brunel Trophy. 

Gigs will launch and recover from Saltash. The Ladies and Vets teams will start from Brunel Bridge Saltash at 11.45 racing up to Cotehele Quay, a distance of approximately 7½ miles. The Mixed and Men will then race from Cotehele Quay starting at 14.30 back to Brunel Bridge Saltash. 

Trophies will be awarded to the first crews for each category. The Brunel Trophy will be awarded to the winning Club decided on points.
