The Many Lives of the Cutty Sark - NMMC Discovery Talks

Printer friendly page

Cutty Sark, 140 years old this year, has outlived her original design life several times over. A cargo ship for over 50 years, she was then saved for the nation by a retired sea captain living in Flushing, who lovingly restored her and ensured her continued exisitence. Cutty Sark has survived typhoons, mutiny and a major fire in 2007. Join Jessica Beverly, curator from The Cutty Sark Trust, to learn about the many lives of the world’s last tea clipper.
