Traditionally our first race, this event usually comprises of a course that takes the fleet around the marks off Dodman Point and deep in to St Austell Bay before the challenging entry into Fowey (where the local Fowey boats usually come out best, watch them for hints...).

Over the last few years this is one race that rarely suffers from a lack of breeze with steady force 4 - 5 either from the NW or SSE. This has resulted in some excellent racing for fleets that have been of nearly 35 boats.
