LUNCHTIME LECTURE - Falmouth Then and Now
3 Oct, 12.30pm
Join Falmouth's senior pilot David Barnicoat as he traces the town's history from Tudor times to the present day. Through historic photographs compare ‘then and now' and see how Falmouth has developed into a major and strategically important port. Relive the memories of Falmouth's role in the Flying Enterprise incident, Robert Manry's crossing of the Atlantic and Sir Robin Knox-Johnson's and Dame Ellen MacArthur's solo circumnavigations of the globe.
